Ed has 40 years of experience in real estate investment and development of technology office, apartment and hotel properties in key U.S markets for more than 150 institutional and private investors. He is the co-founder of Rockwood Capital, which he led as Chairman and CEO for 20 years, from 1995 to 2014. From 2011-2018, Ed was both an investor in and Director of Mill Creek Residential Trust, LLC, one of the largest apartment builders in the United States. Ed graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in History and received his J.D. from Fordham Law School.

In his roles as founding partner at 4Terra Investments and previously as Group Vice President at Archstone, Amir led acquisitions, entitlements, and construction activities on projects producing over 2,500 apartment homes in high barrier-to-entry Bay Area markets.
